HTMA Profile 3 Multi-Element Assay (Retest)
PLEASE NOTE: If you previously ordered a test with another Practitioner, and you still want to keep the same lab number and previous result comparisons, you must complete and submit the Patient Health Information Release when you mail in your hair sample.
The HTMA Profile 3 Multi-Element Assay is a follow-up to the HTMA Profile 2 Multi-Element Assay, or Initial Hair Analysis. It is a retest used to determine any significant changes that have occurred since the previous test and continue to guide you towards balanced health. The body's chemistry shifts so quickly that it is essential to have regular retests to ensure your program is accurate and that your progress stays on track. Any modifications made with the retest will be based on changes in mineral status, symptoms, or other information provided by the client and/or their hair analysis results.
Please note that these laboratory test results and the comprehensive report are not considered diagnostic. The analysis is only provided as an additional source of information to the attending doctor.
What is a Profile 3?
The Profile 3 Hair Analysis is for returning patients who previously purchased a Profile 2 Hair Analysis. This is the retest that is recommended every three months to keep the body progressing towards ideal health. The purchase includes downloadable files in the emailed Invoice that consist of an order form and the scale to weigh and mail in a hair sample.
The elements tested in a Profile 3 are: Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Potassium, Copper, Zinc, Phosphorus, Iron, Manganese, Chromium, Selenium, Boron, Cobalt, Germanium, Molybdenum, Sulfur, Uranium, Arsenic, Beryllium, Mercury, Cadmium, Lead, Aluminum, Barium, Bismuth, Rubidium, Lithium, Nickel, Platinum, Thallium, Vanadium, Strontium, Tin, Titanium, Tungsten and Zirconium.
The purchase of this test comes with a full interpretation report, which includes:
- Graphic illustration of mineral levels and ratios for current and past test
- Individualized evaluation and comparison of mineral levels and ratios with previous previous and discussion of changes
- Food recommendations with an explanation for each that is suggested
- Supplement modification recommendations based on the hair analysis and any other pertinent data
