Progressive Laboratories M.C.H.C. with K1, K2 Capsules (120)
The basis for Micro-crystalline Calcium Hydroxyapatite Complex (M.C.H.C.) is known as Microcrystalline Hydroxyapatite (M.C.H.A.). It is derived from raw bone and prepared at temperatures below 37° C to preserve the protein content. Therefore, the calcium contained in this product is in an extremely bioavailable form. Vitamins D3, K1 and K2 are added to support the synthesis of osteocalcin, the protein in bone tissue upon which calcium crystallizes. Patients who are taking medications to prevent blood clotting must limit their intake of all forms of Vitamin K.
